I have a really special mom, and she also practiced (and taught classes on) natural childbirth and breastfeeding when I was growing up. So part of my passion is to be able to pass on what I was given, not only to my own children, but to the women around me. I am so thankful for the experiences I have had so far in my parenting life, and it is my hope that I can help you to have the same positive encounter with bringing children into your world.
I love my two sweet babies, and I am so proud of how bright and beautiful they are. I know that I can’t take complete credit for smarts and looks, but I can feel confident knowing that I have done everything in my power not to let there be any hindrances to them fulfilling their whole potential. (Besides that, they have a handsome and smart daddy, too) ![]()
But ultimately, the root of all my beliefs about parenting, childbirth, and everything else in life is my conviction that God is the ultimate author of my life. My husband and I really seek what God’s heart towards us as His children is, so that in turn we can apply that to how we treat our children. We want Lexi and Seth to know who God is at a young age, and when they feel loved and secure with their parents’ love, it’s not such a stretch to trust God as their Father.
